Looking for a new therapist is not something to take lightly. Before we take the leap into your therapeutic journey, here is a bit about me and my journey to becoming a therapist.

First, I want to offer a sincerest thanks for stopping by

My Story

I knew I wanted to be a therapist as early as high school when I trained as a peer mediator. Helping others resolve conflicts sparked my passion, and I soon began researching how to become a professional therapist. After earning my A.A. in Social Sciences from Herkimer County Community College, I completed my B.A. in Psychology at SUNY Albany, where internships with Northern Rivers Family Services and after-school programs solidified my path.

I then earned my Masters in Social Work from SUNY Albany, where I gained experience working in inpatient psychiatric units and homeless shelters, seeing firsthand the realities of psychological distress. After graduating in 2017, I landed my dream job as an entry-level psychotherapist and have since worked my way up to a senior-level clinician in outpatient therapy.

In 2023, I completed an MBA with a concentration in Health Services Administration, just as the COVID-19 pandemic brought a surge in demand for mental health services. This led me to open my private practice in May 2022, serving clients locally in Oneida County and across New York State. My passion is leading the mental wellness movement and helping end the stigma around seeking therapy. I’m excited to see where this journey takes me as my practice grows.

The Journey to Becoming Your Therapist

My Therapeutic Style

My therapeutic style is casual, raw, and old-soul driven, with a touch of humor when appropriate. I prioritize comfort—if you're not comfortable with me, you won't feel at ease opening up. I believe if we can laugh together, it makes it easier when the tears come. This is your journey, and I'm here to follow your lead, staying in the passenger seat. I wear my heart on my sleeve, bringing empathy, authenticity, and a genuine connection to every session.
